How to Apply

Application Deadline

Not more than three years have elapsed from the date on which the investor first acquired, or should have first acquired, knowledge of the alleged breach and knowledge that the investor or a covered investment of the investor has suffered loss or damage thereby. However, any delay resulting from force majeure shall not be taken into account in counting the aforementioned three-year period.

 

Application Procedures and Required Documents

  1. Complete the Letter of Intent to Request Assistance for Investment Dispute Mediation and Letter of Intent to Request Assistance for Investment Dispute Mediation – Annex; and prepare the proof of qualified investor and document(s) evidencing that a request for amicable consultation with the disputing side has been made for at least one month;
  2. Submit the Letter of Intent to Request Assistance for Investment Dispute Mediation and supporting documents in person or by e-mail (info@cepa.gov.mo) to the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT);
  3. The DSEDT delivers the documents to the relevant authority(ies)/institution(s) and the mediation institution chosen by the Mainland investor.
