Service Overview

Scope of Service

Application for the purposes of certifying the origin of the export goods.

Targets of Service

The personnel who would like to use for the purpose of certifying the origin of the export goods.

Application Eligibility

According to the provisions of Law n.° 7/2003, amended by Law n.° 3/2016 – “Foreign Trade Law”, natural or legal persons who have fulfilled their tax obligations, especially business tax and consumption tax in the Macao Special Administrative Region, may submit the application.

Result of Approval for Application

Issuance of Certificate of Origin to the applicant.

FAQs
Is it compulsory to apply for the certificate of origin when the goods is being exported? Not necessary. The certificate of origin is mainly upon request by the destination country / region. The exporter can apply depending on the export needs of its goods.
