At the opening ceremony of the Jiangsu Week in Macao and the 11th Industrial and Commercial Summit between Jiangsu-Macao-Portuguese-Speaking Countries in December 2021, the DSEDT and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology (JST) signed the Memorandum on Initiating Technological Exchange and Cooperation between Jiangsu and Macao to set up an exchange and cooperation working mechanism to promote the cooperation in technology and innovation between the two places through organizing technology exchange and matchmaking activities. In this connection, Jiangsu proposed the Jiangsu-Macao technology cooperation programme. Meanwhile, the JST and the DSEDT organized a number a matchmaking activities to further promote the technological exchange and cooperation between the two places.
