Under the witness of Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng and Mayor of Beijing Yin Yong, the DSEDT, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park signed the Memorandum on Deepening Science and Technology Cooperation between Beijing and Macao in December 2023 after the first meeting of the Beijing/Macao Cooperation Conference to, by leveraging the unique advantages of the two places through establishing an effective communication and coordination mechanism, promote the cooperation between Beijing and Macao in science and technology and the sustained development of technology and innovation sector of the two places.
